Cloud Piggy Limited is a Salesforce consulting practice led by Jonathan Yeung, a Technical Business Analyst with over 18 years in CRM and 15+ years working on the Salesforce platform.

The focus has always been the same: making sure the people building Salesforce solutions have clear, complete, and well-structured requirements to work from - and making sure the people who'll be using those solutions are genuinely involved in shaping them.

That sounds straightforward, but anyone who's been through a large-scale Salesforce programme knows the gap between "requirements gathered" and "requirements that actually work" is where most projects stumble. Cloud Piggy exists to close that gap.

Prior to going independent in 2017, Jonathan held senior positions at BrightGen (now Credera) and Tquila (acquired by Accenture), delivering Salesforce projects for clients including Rolls Royce, Unilever, Heathrow, RSPCA, Barnardo's, and the London Stock Exchange Group, with global delivery across the UK, Europe, China, and the US.

The approach

Start with what people already know. Instead of running workshops from a blank page, we come prepared with "what we know so far" - existing documentation, process fragments, system screenshots. It gives people something to react to, and it respects the work that's already been done. This is especially effective when stakeholders have been through failed attempts and are understandably sceptical.

Write requirements that developers actually want to read. Every user story includes assumptions, acceptance criteria, and Gherkin scenarios. Process maps get approved by the business before stories are written. Integration requirements include the detail architects need, not just high-level arrows between boxes.

Stay until it works. The contract renewal history speaks for itself - most engagements run to multiple renewals. That's not scope creep; it's a reflection of the value of having someone who understands both the business context and the technical constraints embedded in the programme.
